Parents Handbook
Dear Parents,
Let me take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Ms. Lihmaidi and I will be your child’s first-grade teacher. I look forward to spending the coming year with your child.
If at any time you need to speak with me, please send in a note with your child, and I will call you by the end of the day. You can also email me at [email protected].The lines of communication for any thoughts, ideas, or concerns you may have about the well being of your child are very important to me. My goals for the students are to: challenge their minds, warm their hearts, and put a smile on their faces.
What do you need to bring to school
All students should have a backpack. This makes transporting school supplies and homework easier. The students may also bring a water bottle. The bottle must have a lid with tight seals. Water is the only thing that can be brought into the bottle. If your child wishes to bring a book from home to read, it needs to have the child's name on it. This will prevent mix-ups. Trading toys, books, etc are not allowed at school.
