Hello, my name is Brooke Martire and I am the school psychologist at Robert Fulton School. As a school psychologist and member of the Child Study Team, I believe that each child is capable of achieving success when given the right supports. I work collaboratively with educational staff, community members, and students and their families on creating individualized educational programs that will enable students to reach their fullest potential. As a school psychologist in Fulton School, I also help coordinate and manage “Lunch Bunch” groups for our general and special education students. These groups focus on targeting specific social skills such as social play and emotional development, emotional regulation, and communication skills.
Regarding my educational background, I earned my Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from the State University of New York at Cortland in 2006. I went on to continue my education at Long Island University where I earned my Master’s of Science in Education in School Psychology in 2009. I have been a school psychologist for the past fourteen years and I have had the pleasure of working in the North Bergen School District for the past ten years.
I am excited to begin another school year and I take great pride in serving as your child’s case manager. I look forward to working with you as together we can help your child reach their fullest potential.
