Welcome to ESL!

Hello! My name is Leslie David, and welcome to ESL!

I grew up in North Bergen and am so happy to have the opportunity to teach in my hometown. I graduated from New Jersey City University with my bachelor's degree and earned my master's degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from The College of New Jersey.

As a mother of three boys, I understand how important it is for children to feel supported, encouraged, and confident in their learning. All three of my boys attended Robert Fulton, making this school community especially meaningful to me.

I teach Kindergarten through 6th-grade ESL students at Robert Fulton. I am passionate about helping my students reach their full potential and want each of them to succeed. I strive to create a welcoming, engaging, and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable taking risks, learning from their mistakes, and growing every day.

In ESL, students will develop their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. My goal is not only to help students strengthen their English language skills, but also to help them become confident, independent, and successful learners.
