Welcome to your ESL class!
Hello and welcome back to the new school year!
My name is Ms. Trelles and I teach ESL (English as a Second Language) for grades 1-8 at Robert Fulton. I have worked in the education field since 2015 and my experience includes working with children from Pre-K to 12th grade.
During ESL class we will be focusing on the 4 domains of the English language which consist of reading, writing, speaking, and listening. We will be using the FinishLine for English Language Learners book to help your child prepare for the WIDA state test in February.
My philosophy of education is that children learn at a different pace and it is our job as educators to have patience with them and encourage them to reach their full potential. I aim to bring an open mind and a positive attitude to the classroom each day just as I expect students to do as well.
I am very pleased to have your child in my class this year and I look forward to a wonderful year!
If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me either through Google Classroom or my school email: [email protected]
Extra help day will be on Wednesdays in room B15 from 3:00pm to 3:30pm.
