Welcome Back! I hope you had a fun summer break. I am the homeroom teacher for Section 5-2, Room 209. I'm also the math and science teacher for Sections 5-2 and 5-3. My team teacher is Ms. Kreutzer (5-3, Room 210). She is your ELA and Social Studies teacher. Please log into Google Classroom and join your classes when invited. This is where I primarily share information with parents and students.

Homeroom 209 Student Drop-off/Dismissal Location: 
Entrance Door C-75th Street near Palisades Ave-

Doors open at 8:40 AM

Pick Up at 2:55 PM

 

Please follow security prompts for lining up outside, entering the building, and picking up students.

 

 

Supplies

See class supply list for details. You will also need your chromebook, charger, and headphones on the first day. If you are new to the District, I will send home a chromebook request form for a parent to complete. You should receive one shortly after returning the form.

Google Classroom

I use Google Classroom as the primary source of information for parents and students. The Stream tab will contain notices and reminders from me and the School.  The Classwork tab is where I post assignments, materials and resources. Students are expected to log in daily to read the Streams and complete assignments. Parents are encouraged to check often and to sign up for Google Classroom Email Alerts to track their child's progress.

 

REMIND Chat Text Messages:

I use Remind Chat App to communicate one-on-one with parents by text and to send notifications. Please join your child's homeroom (one only).

To join Homeroom 5-3 Math & Science, send text message @rf20953 to 81010

Please add your child’s (first name) in parenthesis next to yours when creating your profile.

 

Parent Portal:

Please update your contact information in the Parent Portal. This is where you will fill out school forms (including lunch form), monitor your child's academic progress, view reports cards, etc. If you need access or need help, contact the main office at 201-295-2900.
