Throughout the school year the students are assessed on their reading. I work with the Intervention students during Tier 3 using the Sonday Program. This pull out program helps students to enhance their phonics and decoding abilities. This program is meant to help students with their reading and writing skills. Students are able to move freely in and out of the Intervention Program based on their scores received after taking the Universal Screener Fast Bridge. An Intervention student may improve so greatly that they are not in need of the program any longer. They also may enter the program later in the year if the teacher feels they are in need of extra support or if they score poorly on the Universal Screener.
