Mariana Gomez » Bio

I am Ms. Gomez! I am the chorus teacher and the general music teacher for grades 3 through 8. I graduated from Montclair State University with a degree in Music Education with a Classical Voice concentration. I taught private guitar, voice, and piano lessons to students ages 4 to 15 and led summer music camps for kids at Garden Street of the Performing Arts in Hoboken for five years. As a teacher and a lifelong lover of music, I cannot wait to help the students at Robert Fulton flourish in a musical, emotional, social, and intellectual way.

I will cultivate a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment in which students think critically and creatively through music analysis, composition, and performance. While growing their musical abilities, students will develop the abilities to cooperate with others, to reflect upon their lives in relation to the world, to set and commit to goals, and to contribute to the world through creative expression. Please feel free to contact me through my email:
