     Hello! My name is Nancy Claudio, and I can't believe this will be my 34th  year of teaching in the North Bergen School District. I began my teaching career at  Horace Mann in 1990 , and then moved over to Robert Fulton in 2005.  I grew up in North Bergen and attended Robert Fulton School and then North Bergen High School, it is a pleasure to be teaching at the same school where I was once a student!  I graduated with a BA in Education from New Jersey City University in 1990,  and then in 2005 earned a Masters Degree in Teaching Reading.  

 

I have three children, Eric, Jessica and Emma.  Eric graduated with masters degree in Homeland and Cyber Security  from Salve Regina University and is currently working full time in the cyber security field , Jessica graduated from the  University of New Haven, studying interior design, and is currently the owner of her own candle company. My youngest is Emma and she is a senior in high school and is a cheerleader. We also have a dog, Beau who is half Toy Fox Terrier and Jack Russel. 

 

I love reading; my favorite type of books are psychological thrillers, I also enjoy watching movies, being outside and spending time with my family!  Some of my favorite things are coffee, sushi and the beach ! 

 

I am looking forward to a great year and sharing my love of reading and writing with all my students!!
