SCORING KEY: Give a number for each category and then add the numbers for a total.
U (Unsatisfactory)=0-5 N (Needs Improvement)=6-10 I (Improving)=11-15 S (Satisfactory)=16-20
After a final average is reached by the homeroom/subject area teacher, (using scoring criteria set forth by the North Bergen Board of Education), homeroom and ESL teacher must collaborate to reach a final letter grade (S, N. I, U) to be placed on the report card, using above referenced rubric.
Homeroom/Subject area teachers will input final grade after discussion with the ESL teacher.
For any questions/concerns, the ESL teacher will collaborate with the ESL / Bilingual Director for further guidance to make an ultimate decision.

S ( Satisfactory) = 85 - 99
I ( Improving) = 75 - 84
N ( Needs Improvement) = 65 - 74
U (Unsatisfactory) = 0 - 64
